Many people don’t realize the strong relationship between performance and design. In REL, performance is everything to us and thus leads to physical design revisions. Engineers, recognizing the need for greater acoustic volume to achieve the goals of greater fluidity and power, turn to the designer working in dimensionality to trick the eye into seeing a smaller, more compact footprint, even though the volume is increasing. The result is at once modern and intimate without unnecessary embellishment.
