Although the Music Hall Mark1 occupies a lower price point than our famous mmf 2.3, the mechanics are essentially the same. Roy Hall’s signature sound is heard throughout the entire Music Hall line, and the Mark1 is no exception!
Brand New Tonearm
Our new all-aluminum, S-shaped design with precision aluminum head shell allows us to achieve the highest possible level of stiffness and internal damping. The bracket flange is CNC machined, which allows for precise placement of the bracket on the heavy chassis.
The VTA is fully adjustable and is a feature almost never seen in this price range.
This no-compromise solution enables us to achieve that signature Music Hall sound. The magnetic anti-skating feature is quite luxurious. And the factory-set preset and fixed counterweight make setup a breeze.
Cartridge
We have taken care to fit a cartridge that perfectly matches the characteristics of the arm. The Mark1 uses a high-quality, extremely fast and dynamic low-mass cartridge from one of Europe’s leading cartridge manufacturers, the Ortofon OM 5E. This creates a beautiful, full sound, which until now has been impossible to achieve in an affordable turntable.
