The X-Stream 9 is both a network player, a DAC, a CD player, a PC/MAC player via its asynchronous USB-B X-MOS input and a DAB/DAB+ and FM digital tuner.

The audio output stage as well as the decoding part have been particularly well cared for. Signal conversion is supported by AKM’s AK4490 converter.
The AK4490 is part of a new generation of high-end 32-bit DACs based on AKM’s VELVET SOUND architecture, which has been widely adopted by well-established high-end audio companies. This technology achieves quality sonic detail thanks to its low-distortion architecture, in addition to 32-bit resolution digital filter processing.
The AK4490 supports up to 768 kHz PCM and 11.2 MHz DSD (Direct Stream Digital), suitable for playing back high-resolution audio sources. Five digital filters are integrated into the DAC, thus optimizing the sound reproduction.
The AK4490EQ is suitable for converting high-resolution sound sources that the X-Stream 9 masters perfectly.
Combined with our audio stage, this low-distortion DAC (-112dB based on a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 120dB) will increase your listening pleasure tenfold!
The network player part of the X-Stream 9 allows you to manage streaming services (Spotify, Qobuz, etc.), several thousand local, national and global radio stations, playback of your disco library stored locally on your computer or network drive. Airplay and DLNA compatible.
Control of your network player can be done via the ADVANCE PLAYSTREAM application downloadable from the AppStore and Google Play.
The X-Stream 9 has a CD player incorporating the latest generation of Tamul servos ensuring stable and quality playback of your CDs. The solution used combines a 16-bit processor and a 24-bit DSP. It supports CD, CD-R/RW, CD-DA (MP3/WMA) playback.
Our universal source is also equipped with a USB-B X-MOS input for direct connection to your PC or MAC computer. This “high speed” asynchronous 32-bit / 8 core input allows the playback of all types of files up to DSD.
The X’Stream 9 can be configured as a variable or fixed output for perfect adaptation to the input level of your integrated amplifier. The volume will be controlled from the remote control or via the device itself.
The X-Stream 9 acts as a DAC, it is equipped with 3 optical inputs and 2 optical inputs.
In addition, our player has both balanced (XLR sockets) and unbalanced (RCA sockets) analogue stereo outputs as well as two optical and coaxial digital outputs.
The X-Stream 9 incorporates a BDD (Bluetooth Direct Digital) port for connecting our X-FTB 01 digital Bluetooth receiver. This receiver incorporates APTX which ensures CD quality on all your sources.
