The VSX-534 is compatible with the 3.1.2 channel configuration of the latest cinema audio platform, Dolby Atmos. You can reproduce object-oriented sound with smooth, curved movements or realistic 3D motion over the top speakers. Other audio codecs, such as PCM and DSD, can be mixed using Dolby Surround to enjoy 3D surround sound.
DTS:X/DTS Neural:X Upmixing
DTS:X is the next-generation audio codec from DTS that leverages object-based audio to enable new immersive and interactive audio experiences. Since DTS:X can automatically adapt sound to existing channels and speaker system, no specific speaker setup is required. Experience an immersive soundscape with incredibly rich and vibrant sound. Other audio codecs, such as PCM and DSD, can be mixed using DTS Neural:X to enjoy 3D surround sound.
Dolby Atmos Virtualization
When playing any Dolby format, enabling the Dolby Atmos height Virtualizer allows for a more immersive listening experience by creating a virtual surround and height effect from traditional speaker layouts without the use of additional surround or height speakers.
