1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
In accordance with European consumer protection legislation, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without providing any reason, within a period of fourteen (14) calendar days.
- Start of the period: The withdrawal period begins on the day you receive the product.
- How to exercise the right: You may exercise your right quickly and easily by using the dedicated “Withdrawal Button” permanently available on our website (section “My Account”). Once your request is submitted, you will immediately receive an automated confirmation email as proof of receipt.
2. Legal Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal DOES NOT apply, and returns are not accepted, in the following cases:
- Custom-made / Personalized Products: Products manufactured according to your specific order (e.g. speakers with custom finishes/wood, cables of custom length, or factory custom modifications).
- Hygiene Products (In-Ear Headphones): In-ear earphones that come into contact with the ear canal once their packaging has been unsealed.
- Unsealed Software & Media: Sealed CDs, vinyl records, DVDs, or software (software/firmware keys) that have been unsealed after delivery.
3. Testing of High-End Products & Depreciation of Value
As a consumer, you have the right to open the packaging and inspect the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products (e.g. connecting an amplifier or speakers for a listening test), just as you would in a physical store or showroom. However, high-end equipment requires exceptional care. You are legally responsible for any reduction in value resulting from improper handling.
Packaging: The original factory packaging (box, internal protective foam, fabric covers, ties, etc.) is an integral part of the high-end product. Returns with damaged, torn, or incomplete packaging will result in an automatic reduction in refund amount due to diminished value (indicatively 15% – 30% of the product value).
Physical Condition: Equipment returned with signs of use, minor scratches (especially on gloss / piano-finish surfaces), or missing accessories (remote control, manuals, cables, antennas) will be downgraded to “B-Stock” or used condition. In such cases, the company reserves the legal right to withhold up to 50% of the product value.
4. Return Procedure & Shipping Costs
Products in Transit / Refusal of Delivery: If you exercise your right of withdrawal after the order has already been handed over to the courier for shipment, or if you refuse delivery upon arrival, the return process begins automatically. In this case, the return shipping costs charged by the courier to our store are borne by you (the consumer) and will be deducted from your refund.
Return Costs: For products already received, return shipping costs are fully borne by you. Due to the high value, size, and weight of high-end equipment, insured shipping is strongly recommended.
Inspection upon Return: Each product is thoroughly inspected by our technical department upon return (including photographic/video documentation during unboxing) to verify its condition as new.
Refunds: Your refund (after deduction of return shipping costs and/or any depreciation in product value) will be completed within 14 calendar days from the date we receive the returned goods, using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
