The Dynamo 12 features a custom 12” aluminum woofer, tuned using the latest Klippel technology for high efficiency and low distortion. Magnitude® MT-1.6kW Amplifier
Powering the Dynamo 12’s woofer with all the power it can handle is a tough job. MartinLogan’s Magnitude MT-1.6kW amplifier takes on this role, delivering up to 1600W peak power (800W RMS), ensuring amazing performance and impeccable musicality at all volume levels. MartinLogan’s Magnitude amplifiers are designed to deliver their powerful capabilities with extremely low distortion, ensuring maximum fidelity and high performance capabilities. The MT-1.6kW maintains excellent control over the Dynamo 12’s woofer, ensuring precise and powerful bass when you need it.
Advanced Vojtko DSP Engine: Elevating Subwoofer Performance
Dynamo subwoofers utilize the advanced, ultra-high-resolution Vojtko DSP engine, named after MartinLogan’s Chief Audio Technologist. The 500MHz DSP engine with 64-bit processing is the conductor, controlling all aspects of the subwoofer’s performance in real time. This computing power allows MartinLogan engineers to optimize performance for maximum efficiency and fidelity with complete sonic transparency, while enabling advanced features such as wireless app control, built-in wireless signal linking and other advanced DSP functions. Thanks to the computing power of this highly advanced DSP engine, Dynamo subwoofers are also compatible with the award-winning Anthem Room Correction (ARC®) system.
Built-in Wireless Capability
While proper placement plays a key role in optimizing subwoofer performance, getting the cable where you need it can be a challenge. For maximum convenience, Dynamo subwoofers come with a built-in Wireless Receiver and Wireless Transmitter, making it easy to eliminate cable clutter. With zero loss and low latency, even the most demanding enthusiasts will be thrilled with the results.
Construction
The construction of the cabinet plays a critical role in the sound quality of a speaker. Dynamo subwoofer cabinets are constructed from 1” MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) with additional reinforcement at the woofer bases. This sturdy construction provides a more stable base for the high-performance woofer, resulting in cleaner and more defined bass.
Robust Connections
In addition to built-in wireless connectivity, the Dynamo™ 12 offers exceptional wired installation flexibility. With RCA and XLR LFE inputs, Stereo RCA inputs, Speaker Level inputs and Sub Out, the Dynamo 12 can be easily integrated into even the most complex systems. Simultaneous connections are also supported.
Reduced Vibration, Enhanced Bass
Consistent bass performance is a critical component of any sound system and contributes to the physical feel of the show. The Dynamo 12’s built-in anti-vibration mounts enhance bass performance while reducing vibrations to the floor and walls. By minimizing energy transfer between the subwoofer and the floor, unwanted noise and vibrations are eliminated, resulting in tighter, cleaner bass and improved system clarity and dynamics. As a less intrusive alternative to room acoustic treatments, the Dynamo 12’s built-in anti-vibration mounts can also help reduce noise complaints by reducing vibration transmission to adjacent rooms. Out of the box, the Dynamo 12’s anti-vibration mounts are safe for all floor types, with optional spikes included to improve performance on carpeted floors.

Dynamo 12 is compatible with Anthem’s award-winning Room Correction (ARC®) system. This advanced software measures the subwoofer’s performance in your room and then performs customized equalization, tuning, and calibration to achieve the highest levels of bass performance and accuracy for your specific installation. Requires ARC® microphone and PC or Mac computer (sold separately).
