The new Pick it MM EVO

The new Pick it MM EVO cartridge complements the Debut EVO 2 in every way. It not only sonically complements the lightweight tonearm, but also looks impressive on the turntable. Project Audio’s phono specialists once again collaborated with the cartridge experts from Denmark Ortofon to work on this new cartridge. The cartridge is made from a unique combination of technologies. One of which is Ortofon’s well-known split pole pins. This allows it to have a flat frequency response, which is comparable to MC cartridges.

Beauty on the back side.

We like the clean look, and not just on the top. The new Debut EVO 2 is the first turntable we’ve included the RCA output box and power socket on the plinth. The result speaks for itself.

High quality connection

The gold-plated RCA connectors on the Debut EVO 2 will always provide the best connection. The included high quality Connect it Phono E RCA uses quality core materials such as a copper conductor for lossless signal transmission. This cable is semi-symmetrical, meaning the shield is only connected at one end. Therefore, the side with the yellow marking should always be connected to the receiving end.

Due to the RCA output jacks you can always change and upgrade your phono cable. This allows you to upgrade your Debut EVO 2 to our True Balanced technology. To use our True Balanced connection, the Debut EVO 2 must be equipped with an MC or Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge.

The high-quality AC motor is mounted on a porper suspension system that steadily reduces vibrations.

The power generator creates a completely clean new sine wave for the motor. This guarantees very clean power, which results in enhanced speed stability.

The belt decouples the motor from the large sub-plate. This prevents the motor’s vibrations from being transferred to the needle.

A throne for your records.

The heavy 1.7kg cast aluminium platter is re-engineered and precision balanced in an extra step to achieve a perfect platter. The heavy aluminium platter has a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) ring inside to help dampen all resonances, minimising wow and flutter. The Debut EVO 2 platter is anti-magnetic, allowing you to use MC cartridges and upgrade to True Balanced Connection technology. The separately available Record Puck E provides an extra level of damping and stability, making it the perfect addition to your Debut EVO 2.
