The Denon DNP-2000NE is based on the HEOS network platform, like all of the Company’s models, which allows streaming from almost all services, local file playback and the creation of a multi-room system.
In addition to Wi-Fi/Ethernet, the HEOS platform also features Bluetooth (in/out) and AirPlay 2. There is USB on the front panel for playing music from storage media but also USB-B for connecting to a PC.
For those who want to connect the DNP-2000NE to a TV there is an HDMI socket with eARC. So with one HDMI cable you connect the two devices and the audio is controlled either by the TV remote or the DNP-2000NE’s equivalent.
The device features the advanced Ultra AL32 processor that upgrades the digital audio signal up to 384KHz/32 bit, the ESS DAC (ESS9018K2M) and a Master Clock for precise timing. To achieve high performance the analog circuits are isolated from the digital circuits. In addition, the DNP-2000NE is equipped with a headphone amplifier with a separate volume control. It has two Bluetooth and Wi-Fi antennas, and provides both variable and fixed outputs on independent RCAs. It has only digital inputs, two optical and one coaxial
