GET MOVING
There is absolute clarity of purpose in the CXC. It is designed to read the digital audio information on a CD with absolute, unerring accuracy and then transmit it to a digital-to-analog converter (such as the extremely high-quality DACs found in Cambridge’s superb new CXA61 and CXA81 integrated amplifiers). Every component of the CXC focuses solely on extracting every bit of information from the disc into its socket.
PRECISION DRIVEN
The disc drive in the CXC was originally developed by Cambridge Audio for the high-tech 851C CD player. It is the renowned ‘S3’ servo motor design and features industry-leading levels of jitter rejection and error correction – no multi-purpose drive can compete with the CXC’s levels of precision and stability.
