With the MyCast 7, Advance Paris is expanding its portfolio of exclusive, high-quality compact systems. This all-round system leaves nothing to be desired: in addition to the obligatory CD playback and FM and DAB+ reception, the MyCast 7 also offers access to modern streaming services such as Spotify and Deezer, as well as the high-resolution providers Tidal and Qobuz. The MyCast 7 can also be received via TuneIn and iHeartradio via Internet radio, and there is also built-in Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 is supported.
Of course, files stored on a computer, server or NAS on the network are also played without compromise. To keep up with the wide range of playback options, the compact HiFi system can also be controlled via iOS and Android apps.
The built-in HDMI input with ARC (Audio Return Channel) is very practical. Your compatible TV only needs to be connected to the MyCast 7 with a single HDMI cable and then you can enjoy the TV sound through the Advance Paris HiFi system.
Classic stereo interfaces are of course also available. A total of three stereo cinch inputs are available, one of which can be used as a phono input. There are also two optical and one coaxial digital input. The speaker terminals are large and can easily accommodate larger cable cross-sections.
Using the “Sub Out” output, the MyCast 7 can also be perfectly supported by an active subwoofer in the low frequency range.
With 2 x 45 watts at 6 ohms, the compact HiFi system is powerful. Especially when you consider that these performance figures are achieved by a Class AB amplifier. Advance Paris deliberately decided not to use a digital amplifier and thus extract maximum neutrality, detail, dynamics and clarity from the MyCast 7 for the most authentic and harmonious music reproduction possible.
The solid aluminum front, on which the controls of the device are mostly silver and partially illuminated in white, looks very stylish. In addition to the already mentioned USB socket, there is also a headphone connection (6.35 mm) on the front.
